I’ve done many tours before, but this was by far the most seamless. No waiting for other guests, no rushed schedules — just a private journey through some of the most breathtaking landscapes in China. The Flaming Mountains in Turpan were incredible, and ending the trip in Kashgar felt like the perfect finale.

The private arrangement was perfect for our family. Traveling across such a vast route from Dunhuang to Kashgar could be tiring, but having a dedicated driver and guide meant we could rest, stop for photos, and even change plans if we wanted. Highlights for me were the camel ride in the desert and the lively Kashgar Old Town.

This private Silk Road tour was everything I dreamed of and more. From the moment we landed in Dunhuang, our private guide made every detail effortless — no crowded buses, just personalized attention. Walking through the Mogao Caves felt like stepping back in time, and the private vehicle allowed us to explore at our own pace. Kashgar’s Sunday Bazaar was a feast for the senses!

We chose this private tour because we wanted to avoid the rush and really dive deep into the history of the Silk Road. Our guide in Turpan even took us to a local vineyard for a private tasting — something we’d never get in a standard group tour. Every city from Dunhuang to Urumqi felt like a chapter in an epic story.
